First Week

Well after the whirlwind of getting our visas and packing our lifelong belongings up, We are here safely landed in Nambour, Queensland and finally able to take a breath.
It's been busy this end so far too, opening bank accounts, finding doctors and hospital for our baby care, searching for ute's(which is still ongoing but hopefully by our next post we will have something big and shiny to show off!!!). The house is beautiful even more impressive than the photos show. The surroundings are amazing, a little aussie paradise and the pool is pretty neat too.

Another feature are the neighbourhood Kookaburras who laugh a lot at 4am along with the 200 other noisy birds that join in with their chorus, the novelty may soon wear off!

We managed today during ute hunting to squeeze in a walk through the bush where we found our first aussie native, the Koala. He wasn't as helpful as the Kookaburra at posing for Neil as he headed for the top of the tree away from the lens! We have been here 5 days but still no roos!

Weather Report: Hot and sunny!

Keep posted for the news of roos and utes! Life is good down under x
