Here is Bradley in action. As the last video we uploaded was so popular we decided to upload a couple more from over Christmas.

Merry Christmas!
Seasons greetings to you all, all over the world. Hope this finds you all happy and safe this christmas day.
Our apologies for lack of posts on the blog, I couldn't even begin to explain how busy we've been. Running 3 market stalls a week on the run up to Christmas with Neil doing a full time job then coming home to spend hours every night replacing the pictures for the next market and completing orders. It's been hectic alongside trying to renovate the house(not done much yet so still living with the old folks!)and playing with a baby!
But we are pleased with the success of the business so far but it's early days and the test will be in the quiet seasons.
Back to Christmas, for those who I couldn't find addresses or ran out of time to post here is the photo we took for our cards this year.
Bradley Rudolph.
We spent a lovely Christmas eve at our friends house with the two boys really starting to play together now.
The Paskins
The Heslops
I'm afraid we can't brag about a sunny xmas day on the beach this year, as it's gloomy and rained this morning! So we headed inland for our xmas walk and breakfast picnic. As we arrived there was a heavy shower but it faired up and we had a yummy cooked breakfast before a walk around the rainforest.
Eating breakie
A sneaky cuddle
Pre breakfast play
Some company joined us for breakfast
Some shots from our rainforest walk
When we got home Bradley got to open his presents.
Again best wishes to everyone and hope you have a great time and a fab 2008 x x x x

Off on our holidays!!!!
My brother arrived from the Uk for a few weeks of sunshine and glorious aussie fun! The day after he arrived we had booked to go to Moreton Island. It is a sand Island about an hour and half's boat ride from Brisbane, so about 3 hours from our house.
The Island has no roads, so you mainly get around by driving on the beach all the way round and a couple of tracks that cut across the Island. So its 4 wheel drives only and it's pretty tricky driving as the sand is very soft. Needless to say Neil took the wheel. The island has alot of shipwrecks all around it, some dropped there on purpose to be a breakwater.
Saturday morning we headed out just before 6am to get the 8.30am ferry and it all went like a dream. Bradley's first boat trip went well, not that he seemed to bothered by it!
Daddy and Bradley on a windy top deck.
Bradley looking for dolphins!
We let some air out the tyres down on the boat(A neccesity to drive on sand)and it was straight off into the soft sand but Tanky and Neil handled it well not getting stuck. We landed at Tangalooma where we there is a large line of shipwrecks, our campground and just a few metres downshore a resort. Yes, note with a baby we are camping not staying at the resort(Whose idea was this!)We spent the rest of our morning after pitching the tents exploring and headed down to the beach at the resort(no cars allowed on this beach!)Bradley was so excited walking down the beach, I think he must of known he was on his holidays.
Walking down to Tangalooma beach resort.
After a lovely swim and play in the sand we got back in Tanky to go 'The Desert' which is a large expanse of sand near Tangalooma.

Not a happy photography assistant!
After a march across the sand it was back on the bumpy track back to the campsite. A walk on the beach and photographing the wrecks was the early evening activies and of course drinking beer!
The wrecks
Bradley seemed to adjust well to camping life and loved crawing round in the sand. He didn't seem to concerned about getting sand allover him all the time. The joy of camping on a sand island, a patch of grass sounds like a luxury!
Day 2
We headed down the Tangalooma bypass back on to the beach the other side of the resort. It said on the map that it's not always possible to get down this side due to debris and shifting sands but it was our lucky day as there was only one bit where Tanky had to get his wheels wet to get round. The first stop was Tangalooma point, a very beautiful spot.
Tangalooma point(Don't worry Brads is asleep in the car, we haven't left him!)
We visited more shipwrecks at Shark spit.
Next stop the world's largest sandhill, Uncle Martin was voulnteered to carry the Bradman up this one.It was one tough climb but very cool! The weather turned as we were on the top, so a sharp exit down was needed.
A random tree on the way up the sandhill.
A tired Uncle Mart and Bradley on the top.
As it was very rainy we didn't stop at the small sandhills which were further down the Island. We drove in the rain till we reached Kooringal which is a small selection of houses and a pub/shop where we had coffee watching the rain! It was then a mad dash back to Tanky and back up the eastern beach on the other side of the Island. This involved a picnic in the car and a stir crazy baby!
But luckily the weather eased so we could get out to view the beach and then we got a walk up to the highest point of the Island, Mt Tempest. It was really cool walk with lots of grass trees.
A quick look at the beach

We arrived back to Tangalooma in another shower and drank beer while we waited for it to stop which it did and we got a lovely evenng walk on the beach. Neil had another chance to photograph the wrecks at sunset.

Day 3, we packed up the tent to move to a campsite on the other side of the Island. We did ask why we decided to move, all I can say on paper it looked a good idea! So after packing up we drove half hour and unpacked again but it was a lovely quiet campsite near the blue lagoon which is a stunning freshwater lake.
Setting up camp.
Our first visit to The Blue Lagoon

We then headed back across the Island on a different track and came to Bulwer, a small town where we got a few goodies and the boys got a hot pie and a cold beer!(Not B though!) On the beach here they also have there own wrecks.
Bulwer wrecks
It was then off round the north of the island, which was very beautiful with the most turquoise water you've seen. First it was a short wal up to five hills lookout.

Next back down on the beach.
Back out again for a walk around Honeymoon bay.
Some shots of Honeymoon bay.
Just over the headland was Cape Moreton which was lunch spot then a quick jaunt up to the lighthouse.

As we drove back down on the eastern beach we stopped for a quck snap back up to the lighthouse.
After a busy day we dumped our stuff and walked back down to the Blue Lagoon to experience it properly with a refreshing dip. Bradley enjoyed more sand and water time but was great way to finish the day.

Uncle Martin enjoying one fine Queensland thing while in another.
Day 3, Martin made it up for sunrise but the Paskins didn't due to the fact little Paskin had been up for many hours already and had just at last gone back to sleep.
After packing up and Martin enjoying a final Blue Lagoon swim we were on the road again. We had one last explore to make sure we covered every bit of the Island, this included a final look at Bulwer wrecks.
The Paskin family and their faithful friend, 'Tanky'.
We then left a few hours to be spent at the resort, firstly with coffee. The first espresso for days! Then some really great beach time Bradley havng the time of his life, Daddy and Uncle Martin seemed pretty happy too building Bradley's sandcastles for him!
The sandcastle crew
A happy beach boy
At last a tasty lunch at the resort before catching the ferry home. It was a fantastic trip, Bradley had so much fun as we all did and Moreton Island is just such a beautiful place, we would recommend it to anyone aslong as you like bumpy tracks!
The house is all ours, we have keys! After nearly a last miunte slip up it's all gone through. We have been for a couple of quick look rounds and a measure up but no photos yet. Promise we will have some very soon. It needs a good clean up and some TLC awell as a bit of renovations to get it how we want it to move in. But as long as we've got time they shouldn't take too long.
A couple of Bradley snaps to finish that Neil has taken during his 'in charge' Sundays while i'm off working at the market.

And he's off!
Bradley has now mastered the art of crawling! Last Thursday he managed a couple of yards then the next morning he was off and can now make it round the whole house.
Life on the market is carrying on, the second week at Caloundra market went very well with the sale of 2 large framed pictures alongside smaller ones and cards. We have managed to get a spot as a casual at Eumundi market on a Wednesday. Eumundi markets are the biggest market on the Sunshine Coast and they run on a Saturday as well as a Wednesday and are the one we were orginally aiming for but thought there was not a spot. But having said all that we did absolute rubbish the first week not even braking even! We did it the following week and did better but not as well as our other market. We are hoping things can only get better heading towards christmas.
Bradley's swimming lessons are going well now, he still gets a little upset getting in as the teacher holds him and he's not good with strangers holding him. But he's now going under the water and crawled along the floating mat this week. He's really enjoyed it at the home pool as well as the water is getting warmer.
Our weekends are still revolving around the business so no real adventures to report.
On sunday on the way back from Caloundra(I'm running the market stall and Neil is charge of Bradley, so they have a boys morning on a sunday)we called into Amy and Marc's for a beer and Bradders joined Ryan in the paddling pool for a dip.
The paddling boy
Neil has just taken a few shots around the house, we have had a couple of visits from some sedgefrogs. They make great photo subjects.
The frogs
A quick snap of a sunset from the pool.(Would of been better to be standing by some great landscape!)
One last beastie.
Finally, good news with our house. The contract on our house has gone unconditional so that pretty much means it's ours! It's a 3 bedroom detached brick house in Nambour about 10 mins from where we live now.It has a great Bradley friendly garden and a fab wooden deck (that needs some renovating as during the sale it was discovered the builder did a botch job and it doesn't meet council approval). It it's good condition and perfectly livable but I've got lots of plans and how to modernize it! it's at the end of a cul de sac and has a park behind in a nice bit of the town. We're due to get the keys on 20th Nov so look out for some photos.

Busy busy times!
Saturday 6th October was our third wedding anniversary, so we conned Grandma into spending some quality time with her grandson and we headed out to a fancy restaurant for lunch. It was delicious and lovely to sit quietly and admire the view as we had seats overlooking the water. We worked off lunch by a walk on the beach and then called into a local nursery for coffee and desert. A romantic afternoon and the longest I've been away from Bradley. Grandma coped very well, Bradley had a 2 and half hour afternoon nap, very strange he doesn't do that for me!
The following day was a quiet day with some photography work and a tasty lunch out at Noosa. But we did throw my camera in for a few snaps.
Bradley having lunch
On the 8th Oct Bradley become the proud owner of one front tooth, it has now been followed by it's neighbour. We have yet to get a good shot of them but they're getting bigger everyday so we'll try.
Unfortunately we have discovered we have some new neighbours. Yes, it's getting hotter which means it's snake season! Two red bellied black snakes are living in the creek just yards from our house. The book describes them as deadly venomous, charming! Neil didn't worry about that as he headed straight for them with his camera.
A red bellied!
A few days later Dad made the mistake of throwing a dead mouse he'd caught in the trap down there, Mrs red belly was more than happy to except a free meal and wasn't going to be put off by us throwing rocks, she wanted that mouse! I don't think Dad will be leaving snake food near the house again!
Bradley has had his first swimming lesson at a heated swimming pool nearby with his friends from mothers group. He seemed to like the heated shaded pool more than the cold one at home!
The following Friday we had our first incident of me rushing the Bradman to the doctors, he had a temperature of 102 and was pretty grumpy. He had just thrown up his calpol too. The Dr said it was a throat infection and a bit of an ear infection, he was extremely clingy all day demanding you walked around cuddling him!
We were planning to have our friends Amy,Marc and Ryan round for a barbie but they said they were happy to risk the contamination and grumpy baby zone. We had a yummy bbq and a good gossip until babies and parents were struggling to keep there eyes open about 9.30pm! The joys of parenthood!!
Our market stall plans were sprung into action, as I rang up a market in Caloundra(big place on the Sunshine Coast about 35 mins drive away) to see about getting a stall. They said we could start straight away as casuals, so I told Neil we would be starting in 10 days. A shocked Neil pointed out to me that he's read that it takes months to get enough stock for a stall. So Neil sent hard to work.So most of the weekend was printing, matting and framing, we did sneak out a drive and browse round some local shops in a village north of us called Pomona where Neil has been working alot lately.
Sunday, printing, matting and framing and greeting card making as we now have a line of home made cards of 18 different designs! But again to keep us all sane we went out for a few hours for bits and pieces for the stall. Mainly the gazebo it's self aswell as boxes, table and screening to hang the pictures from. We then called into Mooloolaba for coffee and Neil did a unusual thing nowadays and took some photos down on the beach. You wouldn't believe how little photography he's doing at the moment. Bradley and I played in the sand, which he seemed to enjoy feeling it on his toes and his fingers, the job is to stop him eating it!

Tuesday 16th was my Dad's birthday, we were very brave and took Bradley out for his first night out. He was an angel and sat in his high chair eating raisin toast watching other children all night.

The Saturday before the stall opened, Neil spent 15 hours working, what a day off! We had a practice setting up in the garden and the neighbours came over to give there opinion. It was a very hectic day and 11pm by the time we packed the car ready. It was a 5.15am start on Sunday, My Mum and me headed down first so Neil could watch the rugby, the three boys showed up just as the market opened when Mum and I had managed to set the stall up. We didn't need to panic for long about not selling anything as within 5 mins we sold the most expensive picture on the stall! It was a good day and we sold a few more images aswell. The stall needs tinkered with to get it to it's best and Neil has been busy again this week making more mounted prints and replacing the ones that sold.

Fingers crossed for another good week this week.
Our house is proving stressful and is like a roller coaster will report when have some firm news, if it actually goes ahead!

Last but least, believe it or not it has been a year since we moved out to Oz!
