Weekend adventures!

The weeks are flying by, another week of sleepless nights; the joys of parenthood!!!

Neil has had another busy week of work, it was tiring before but its even harder now with added sleep deprivation! We had a visitor one night on the outside of the door, a very hyperactive Praying Mantis, which Neil chased round for 20 mins trying to get a good shot.

I have had a good week with Bradley, we had our first social date with two girls from Cumbria and there babies.

On Saturday we went for a drive to explore some more inland towns and countryside. We drove over "the range"(as its known here) to a town called Imbil which is in the Mary Valley, this town was described as the biggest town in the valley. But was only a short street but a very typical small Aussie inland town.
Bradley was very good only letting out a cry when we stopped Tanky to take a photo, I was trying to explain to him he will have alot of years ahead of him waiting for Daddy to take photos, at least I have some company now!

The countryside is really cool inland but for photography purposes it needs to be low light to get a good shot.

On the way home we called into the plot where my Mum and Dad's new house is being built, it is coming along well. The roof is going on Monday or Tuesday, then they will start on the walls. Bradley was exercising his lungs, we noticed we were being watched by a very cute kangaroo who seemed quite intrigued by Bradleys crying. He was just chilling next door! Bradley is going to be so lucky to see wild roos outside his bedroom window!

Today after a relaxed start we decided to go to Mooloolaba which is one of our favourite places as it is a real holiday destination. We had coffee and cake, something Bradley is going to have get used to sitting watching his Mum and Dad stuff their faces! We then went for a walk along a boardwalk which runs along side the Mooloolaba spit which is a very long beach. We took Bradley down onto the beach, he had a feed while Neil took some shots.

So interesting to read about the Paskins' life downunder. It's also interesting to see Neil's photos in context to the events surrounding them as written by a third party. Beautiful photos, Neil, as always.
